To get married in Daytona Beach,  YOU NEED TO OBTAIN A FLORIDA MARRIAGE LICENSE.   
You can go in person to any county in the State of Florida to apply (out of state:  you can obtain your license by mail.  When
you reserve with Seaside Ceremonies, we will tell you how!)  

The following is information for the Daytona Beach area:  You can apply for your marriage license in the Daytona Beach area at
the Volusia County Courthouse Annex, 125 E. Orange Ave., Room 108, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114.  Phone (386)257-6013

If you are a resident of the State of Florida you have two options:  You may complete a premarital course and your fee will be
reduced by $32.50.  You won't have a waiting period if you take the premarital course.  Or,  you have the option of  not to
taking the course and wait three days to receive your marriage license.

If both the bride and groom are NOT residents of the State of Florida, there is NO waiting period for your marriage license.  You
can receive your license on the same day as you go in to the clerk's office and apply.

The fee for your marriage license application is $93.50* and is valid for 60 days.  Regardless of which Florida county you applied
for your license, the marriage may take place anywhere in the state of Florida.

After the wedding, we will mail  your marriage license to the county where you received it from, and the license  will be recorded.  
Once you receive your certified, recorded marriage license in the mail, you can start the process of changing your name at the
Driver's License Office, Social Security Administration, etc...

You will receive your recorded marriage license from the Clerk's office.  This will be your official, certified document that will be
valid internationally (International couples may have to register their Florida Marriage License with the proper clerk's office in their
own country).
